The 2025 Rangatahi-Led Fund is Now Open
Otago Community Trust's 2025 Rangatahi-Led Fund has officially launched! Guided by four rangatahi rōpū across the Otago Region, you can apply for up to $5000 backing your vision.
Rangatahi leaders from each region are driving this fund, setting the purpose and criteria that matter most to young people. Working alongside the Otago Community Trust, they'll help bring youth-led initiatives to life through grants administered by eligible organisations.
The fund gives grants to projects and events that:
- Have long term impact.
- Are needed in the community.
- Connect rangatahi and build relationships for wellbeing.
- Support communities being who they are authentically.
- Uplift and build rangatahi confidence.
- Encourage rangatahi to try something new.
- Are accessible and support rangatahi as decision makers.
Who can apply?
- Anyone under 25 can apply within the Dunedin City Council Boundaries
- People of all cultures, abilities, and ethnicities are welcome to apply
